All of my entries are fixed now, for those of you who were trying to go back and read the older stuff.

The html got all jacked up when Henry imported everything to WordPress, but I cleaned it up and all the pictures are back in the Super Gay Stories posts now.

Yesterday, I used my Holga for the first time, but now I can’t find anywhere local to develop the film and it’s driving me crazy. I want my pictures! I took a picture of some bikers outside of a bar and I want it.

Does anyone know where I can get a roll of 120 developed?

I found a place where I can send it out, but they wanted me to buy a minimum of 5 pre-paid mailers. Why do I feel like I’m going to need a side job to support my lame hobbies?

  1. I totally envy the Holga. I’ve wanted one since I saw a book on them this year. How did you get yours?

  2. i can’t wait to see these photos.

  3. Remind me tomorrow and Ill ask Tommie where he got all of his film developed around here.
There was a place downtown, but Im pretty sure it closed not too long ago.

  4. It might be easier to develop your own if you find that you really like the hobby. B&W is super easy to develop and the chemicals aren’t that terribly expensive. Except it is stinky.

Look in the phone book for small local labs. If you can find one that caters to professional photographers they should be able to do it for you. I used to have Eric develop my “weird” film for me when he worked at PhotoCenter.

Oh, I just thought of this! It’s even better than finding a photo lab. Does your local community college offer a photo program? I’d bet you could get a student to develop the film and make a proof sheet for you for a few bucks! If there lab is anything like where I went (and worked for a while) the lab rats are drooling for photography related jobs.
