Random Picture Sunday
This was my absolute favorite dress when I was a kid. It represented a golden age in my life: collecting My Little Ponies, lazy Sunday afternoons in my Pappap’s pool, watching The Smurfs while eating Sharon’s Saturday morning French toast, Disney World, Shirley Temples and lobster dinners, my last year as an only child.
I still really love the green/pink color combination because it reminds me of candy and this dress.

You were so adorable! You still are though!
no way! those were my glory days. i’m all kinds of ugly now.
you have better poses than the girls on ANTM.
cute!
oh how times change.
Aw! Posing already ;-)
It’s interesting to look at pictures from when you were five or so, and go, “Wow, look at that. A time when I didn’t have to worry about anything except learning to tie my shoes and adding simple numbers.” And summers stretched for eternity . . .
Ugh, don’t you miss those days?! :(
you look the same! i <3 that dress. i would wear it NOW.
that age range was my golden age, too. i wish i could go back there, honestly. everything was soooo much less complicated, and the days were just saturated with wonder.
…what happened? :(
Those were the best years, man. I hope Chooch has a good childhood like that too.
Polaroids!!!
And see how you’re posing here–you knew that dress was the shit. :)
What was your favorite My Little Pony? Mine was Moonstone.
Wasn’t there one called Cotton Candy? That’s the one that comes to mind when I think of the ones I liked best. I miss those things! And Sweet Secrets. Those were kind of fun.
