I didn’t know, either. :( The vet said she is otherwise healthy and not in any sort of pain. I mean, I didn’t even know anything was wrong until I noticed she had a tumor under her armpit, but of course I was hoping it wasn’t a tumor.
The only glimmer of hope I have right now is that euthanasia wasn’t even an option given to us by the vet. But…I’m trying to also be realistic. She’s 15. Any sort of surgery will probably be more of a detriment. :( So now I’m just going to spend the rest of her days smothering her even more than I normally do, which is already a lot.
