We just came back from seeing Mother Mary at the Hollywood Theater.

I can’t remember the last time I had such an unenjoyable time at the movies. I hated every second of that movie except for the 5 minutes FKA Twigs was in.

Anne Hathaway does nothing for me (more like ANNE GOAWAY amirite guyz? Guyz??), the story itself was SO BAD, the writing had me cringing to the point of pain. My decade + long streak of loving every single A24 movie I’ve watched has officially come to an end.

Also???? Not a knock to the movie but there is a scene where they show fans in the crowd and some are wearing these sharp ass protruding crowns and I swear if any kpop group adopts a religious theme and fans start wearing elaborate eye-pokers to concerts I’m going to be so pissed.

Just like I’m pissed that we paid to see that big screen slop.

Well anyway what a grand end to an annoying day. Happy to be cuddling with Penelope now.
