We bought this dresser / wardrobe set from Ikea last May and then proceeded to barely be home for Henry to make my very specific vision come to fruition.

Let’s just say what I thought was a simple “slap some fabric on it” idea morphed into Henry dusting off the sewing machine and relearning how to sew fabric.

I really have to hand it to Henry – he went above and beyond on this one and probably has an entire leopard faux fur hair ball in his stomach now.

I know it appears that the dresser juts out past the wall and block the doorway but that is an illusion. It actually lines up perfectly to the edge of the wall.

The wardrobe is still in process. I have an idea of what I want to do but have to do some searching!

I made chooch come in and look. He actually said it was nice!

“It’s not done yet – I still have a bunch of rosaries I need to incorporate into it—” I started to say, but he was like “omg bye” and walked away. I’m sure he’s so excited about yet another gaudy piece of furniture he’ll someday inherit.

I do think that I will repaint the angel knobs with a lighter/brighter pink so they show up more.

Tomorrow we will hang up a clown painting from the Gillcrest clown room and a red neon cross. Get stoked for those updates I guess.
