I mentioned this at some point I’m sure but Chooch’s current co-op is with Penn’s football department – I guess since Drexel doesn’t have a football team, they let Penn use their students for some things? I don’t know so please do not ask me for details. I just know that when Chooch saw it listed as a co-op option, he applied and then put his blinders on to all other options so thank the fucking lord he got it. (He did apply to some others but this was the only one he had eyes for.)

Last weekend, Chooch got to travel with the team to Dartmouth and did…chain things or something for that game. 

Yesterday was a home game against Howard and this time we were prepared to watch it. Thank god as soon Henry put it on, I spotted Chooch immediately, screamed in excitement, snapped some pics, posted to Instagram and then immediately lost interest in the game LOL.

I love my kid but not enough to watch a full football game. 

“Chooch should have done what that kid did,” Henry said, pointing to another non-player on the sidelines. “He put ILU on his sign, must be for his mom. ‘I love you,'” Henry dad-splained like yes, I know what “ILU” means but also….?

“That says IVY, you idiot. All of them say IVY!” I cried in disgust at his usual stupidity. 

I told Chooch about it and he goes, “He’s so dumb and also those are vests, not signs.”

Wow.

This has been a Chooch update. (Oh, P.S. one of my old blog friends / current Instagram friends commented on IG and it was so precious that it actually made me tear up – she said, “There’s our boy!” and then asked if it was OK that she called him that, and that she feels like she has known him his whole life which is 100% true and also 100% fine by me that she called him our boy, and then she said “he has lots of Internet aunties!” and another Internet friend replied and said she was one too and it just filled me so. much happiness. I do often feel like he turned out so well because I had so much support and love from the friends I made through blogging and that’s just pretty special, you know? <3
