About to leave our Backrooms hotel after three glorious days at Riot Fest:

OK maybe yesterday was more muddy than glorious but it was a memorable end to a really excellent weekend and Henry and I actually didn’t argue at all can you believe it?! He was so accommodating!

We had to stop at Paris Baguette on the way out for breakfast foods because that place has been fueling us in the AM everyday this weekend.

I’m sad that it’s over but also so exhausted and we have to do this again on Saturday to a lesser extent at Four Chord. Plus a show in between now and then at Sidequest so Henry is internally fuming over this – he has been dreading September for a while now but we’re almost at the finish line!

Also, last night I wanted to read a little when we got back and there was an Alanis reference after we just saw her so I was excited about that – I love when relevant things show up in the books I’m reading, like a sign!
