Sunday was off to a great start until we got to the park and Riot Fest put out an update that there was a gate opening delay—2PM instead of 11AM ugh. I’ll get into those deets when I do a proper update but it was annoying since we parked 1.1 miles away and couldn’t leave and come back, so we had to take the train to…somewhere. Anywhere. To kill time.

Now it was starting to rain. AND BASICALLY IT NEVER STOPPED.

Here we are off the train and I had no idea where we were going but Henry evidently did? He was taking us to the same bar we went to the last time we were at Riot Fest when there was THE SAME DELAY – literally 11am opening moved to 2pm. This was in 2023, also day 3. Boy, we have the best luck!

But yeah, I was like, “No, we’re not going to the same place, dum dum.” So we went across the street to some bar called Vintage instead.

The girl in the shorts back there was our server, Reeve, and she was HOLDING IT DOWN. Loved her.

Henry got some IPA and I liked the glass it came in.

It was raining very steadily and my Charmera is not about that soggy life.
