Patent Pending! (This band, Heading North, and obv. Pierce the Veil were my favorites that day.)

Eternal Boy’s singer is the founder of Four Chord, FYI!

I loved that downtown Pgh was the backdrop for this festival, and that also Pgh has a pop punk music festival to begin with! When I first went to this thing, it was in its second year and held in a now-defunct club with a 600 person capacity.

Hit the Lights were pretty good.  I have never been a fan per se but they were enjoyable. Luckily there were a ton of legit fans in the crowd because the mic quit working right when the last song started and the crowd carried it. I for one did NOT know the words, LOL.

Driveways had some Michael Myers footage going on in the background. I also thought that it was interesting that they’re from Boston and YOU CAN TELL – the singer does NOT  lose his accent in song. Also, they mocked us because their dumb team beat our dumb team and I was like “Well, joke’s on you because I don’t care for ANY team.” (Football can suck it.)

Meanwhile, later that night, Boys Like Girls said that they were also from Boston, mocked us similarly, but displayed nary an accent. JUST INTERESTING IS ALL.

I was attempting to catch Henry in the act of awkwardly sitting down – it was a slow and painful descent for him each time LOL. I shouldn’t laugh, my back still feels busted from carrying the entire month of September on it. (But was it worth it? OF FUCKING COURSE.)
