IT’S LOOKING GOOD YOU GUYS! I was so nervous today when I voted. Even worse was that Henry was wearing a red flannel. I begged him to change before we went to the polling place across the street because he looked Republican but he scoffed (scoffed!!) at me and said, “No one is going to think that.”

”Now it looks like you’re canceling my vote!” I cried.

Then I was mocking the voting sticker man at the registration table for sleeping BUT HE WAS ACTUALLY BLIND. UGH.

After casting my ballot, I left Henry there because I was embarrassed and didn’t want to be seen leaving with him LOL

Later that afternoon, the sweetest WQED canvasser came to my house. Henry’s membership lapsed so I signed up in my own name because Henry can’t be trusted with charity. The guy (Michael) was so nice and friendly. When I selected my age bracket, he said  NO WAY.

“yeah, I’m 47,” I sighed.

He said I look 30!! Super generous and not true but I’ll take it. I said I have a 20-yo son and he goes, “I’m 20!”

Anyway, that was all well and good but then we went to a show at Bottlerocket tonight so I could blow off steam which I definitely did but now my back hurts because I am, in fact, a lot older than 30!!
